Anson Dorrance is the most successful coach in the history of soccer. In 1991 he led the US national team to victory in the inaugural Women`s World Cup. His teams at the University of North Carolina have won 14 of 16 NCAA Women`s National Championships and his collegiate record stands at 417-16-11.
